Privacy Policy – TextAndCalc.com
Hey, I’m Prasad, the person who runs TextAndCalc.com.
I’ll keep this page straight to the point. I care about privacy, and I figure you do too. This is just me explaining what happens when you use the site — no complicated stuff, no hidden tricks.
What Happens When You Use the Site
When you open a tool here — like the Word Counter, SIP Calculator, or Age Calculator — everything runs right inside your browser. Nothing gets saved or sent anywhere. What you type stays with you.
The only time I see any information from you is when you reach out through the Contact Page or email me. Then I’ll have your name, email address, and whatever message you sent. That’s it.
I use that only to reply or fix something if you reported an issue. Once that’s done, it’s done. I don’t store personal data, I don’t sell emails, and I don’t send spam.
Why I Wrote This Page
I know privacy pages can sound like they were written by lawyers, but that’s not what I wanted. You deserve to know what happens when you use the site, in plain English.
So here it is: this site doesn’t track you, doesn’t collect your text, and doesn’t try to sneak in ads that follow you around. You use a tool, get your result, and move on.
Cookies and Analytics
Like most websites, TextAndCalc.com uses a few cookies. They’re small files that help me see what’s working and what isn’t — things like which tools are popular or how long people stay on a page.
Sometimes I use Google Analytics for that. It gives basic traffic info, like which countries visitors come from or what devices they use. It doesn’t tell me who you are.
If you’d rather not share that kind of data, that’s totally fine — you can turn off cookies in your browser, and everything here will still work.
Links to Other Sites
Every now and then, I link to other websites — like MDN Web Docs — for people who want to learn more about how online tools work. Once you click those links, you’re under their privacy rules, not mine.
Security and Safety
There isn’t much data here to begin with, but I still do what’s needed to keep it secure. Messages sent through the Contact Form are transmitted safely. None of the tools save your inputs; once you close the page, the data’s gone.
Your Choice
If you’ve ever messaged me and want your info deleted, just say so. I’ll remove it right away.
You can unsubscribe from any updates whenever you like. You’re in charge of your own information here — not me, not anyone else.
When Things Change
Sometimes I update this page — maybe when I add a new tool or tweak how analytics work. If that happens, I’ll post the new version here. The basic idea never changes: your privacy stays your own.
Wrapping It Up
That’s pretty much it. No long legal stuff, no big words. I built TextAndCalc.com to help with small, everyday tasks — not to collect data or track anyone.
If you ever want to ask how privacy works here, just send me a quick email at contact@textandcalc.com. I’ll reply myself.
Thanks for trusting this little site and for using the tools. Every visit helps me keep it running and improving.
